A few months ago I signed up at FriendFeed. I heard about somewhere . . . probably Scoble pumping it. I thought it interesting, but was excited about SocialThing, which I hadn’t even gotten onto yet.
Well, with Twitter’s current spate of troubles, FriendFeed has been the place to hang out online. Today I committed to playing with it. Indeed, this site has lots of potential. Right now it is the place.
If they could integrate SocialThing’s ability to post out to the other networks it would be almost the perfect site.
It’s akin to IRC, but much more divergent.

I added a new social bookmarking link to some of my posts tonight. Every post in the culinary category now sports 
Bite This! below the post.
Clicking on it is similar to digging a post. It puts the post up on GroupRecipes in the blogs section. Those posts with the most bites are listed first. The idea is that when blog readers find food related posts they like, clicking the link will highlight the post to other foodies.
So, feel free to bite my culinary posts.
