Yeah, I did. I’s just in here gettin my car checked, he just appeared out of the traffic. Come streakin’ around the grease rack there, didn’t have nothin’ on but a smile. I looked in there, and Ethel was gettin’ her a cold drink. I hollered, “Don’t look, Ethel!” But it was too late. She’d already been mooned. Flashed her right there in front of the shock absorbers.
Or something like that. ‘Twas loaded the family into the truck and there she was. Beautiful, ain’t she?

This is the Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey blimp. My little camera couldn’t zoom any closer and keep things in focus. It was floating above the beach at Belmar, NJ.
I’ve always been enamored with blimps. Not terribly far from here is the site of the Hindenburg disaster. Like most, I suspect, my knowledge of these aircraft is limited to Monday Night Football. And while I am not a huge fan of heights, I think flying in a blimp would be fun.
Alas, this was not the day.

The tour with Beetle and Fritz continued. We had just left Barnegat Light and were heading south. We were stopped at a red light when lo and behold this Mini Cooper came up. A bit of serendipity, I suppose.
I snapped the requisite photographs and recorded the coordinates.
Later, I somehow I got in front of the Cooper. That is amazing as I actually kept to the 35-40 miles all the way off LBI. Anyhow, I think he checked up to let someone in. Anyhow, I snapped a rearview shot of the same Mini Cooper.

I agree that everyone loves a hHummer!
We were walking back from the beach and spotted this in our course. This is an H2, which is still huge. I cannot imagine what it costs to fill this thing.
