Spring Cleaning . . . A Bit Early
Sunday, January 13th, 2008A few readers have written to indicate that they have had some issues with photographs displaying. The issue is not with eCache but rather IE. It seems to choke on some images. I am not certain why and frankly am not terribly concerned. While I am an owner of M$FT, their browser is not good.
Nevertheless, I decided to tackle this issue today. There’s been some maintenance I’ve wanted to address and now that WP 2.3 is out, I decided it was time to upgrade.
The upgrade was smooth. I was very pleased with how well WP imported the tags from Ultimate Tag Warrior. I was fearful I was going to lose the tags on 3000 posts. Happily, it was trivial.
I’ve been tweaking and there’s plenty left to do, but things are in pretty good shape. The upgrade took care of the IE issue as well so it appears to be a success so far.
