I need to become more organized for these hunts.
This evening was the annual All City String Concert at Memorial School in Vineland, NJ. This is the showcase of all the students who play string instruments from grade 4 through 12. It is a nice show each year. My students are always so eager to play an instrument. It’s interesting to see who keeps with it as the years roll along.
Anyhow, after dinner as I was preparing to go (Fritz smeared tomato sauce all over me so I had to change) I recall some hunt about a live concert. I didn’t remember the particulars, but thought I needed a shot of people clapping at a concert. All night I concentrated getting a shot of the folks in front of me clapping. The lighting was rough, I was in the back, and I only had my little camera. I had the GPS too, but it didn’t feel right to raise it for the shot. Thankfully, that wasn’t required.
Anyhow, the clapping I see was not needed. Ah, so the folks around can speak of what a weird guy I am. It wouldn’t be the first time.
The music seems to be getting better each year.
