Finn’s Point Rear Range Lighthouse

This light was decommissioned in 1950.

This rear range light was a sister to another light south of Ft. Mott. When a captain lined up both lights, he knew he was in the center of the channel.

Yes, I have used this for other scavenger hunts.

That MeriGold is still kicking, ha? Mine is in storage as my backup unit. It feels like such a monstrosity in my hands after using an eXplorist for a few years, but I’m sure it’d get the job done if called upon, though.
My boss just got a Garmin Colorado which I recommended to him. I took a look at it am very jealous. I don’t think I need a fourth GPS unit right now, though, especially a $400 one.

That’s an old photograph, although I still have and use Maggy. My understanding is that one should not let it sit and lose the almanac or he’ll not get it back.

    I like the Colorado too.
