Help Me Soften My Stool
April 4th, 2008 | Posted in » Education, Miscellaneous
This is the stool in my classroom. Years ago I had a similar stool. Someone was kind enough to give me a cushion for it. It was padded and had some elastic at the bottom so it held to the metal seat.
I have searched all over for such a cushion since last August. I cannot find one. I’ve looked in Walmart, Target, Sears, and the like.
Help me soften my stool; where can I purchase a cushion that will fit this stool?

You’re sick… but try this, if you must — take the stool into a furniture upholstery place. Should be a relatively inexpensive job for them to customize a cushion that’ll give your butt a soft place to land.

I am sure there is such a place around here, but that is much more work than I am looking to do. First off, I don’t want to cart the stool around. Secondly, I cannot image it would be an less expensive than a premade cushion with elastic.
s for being sick, guilty as charged.

What is the diameter of the seat?
