I saw that happen for real at a Badger football game once for real. A guy proposed to his cheerleader girlfriend in the end zone between quarters. Unfortunately for him she said no, and kind of emphatically. Doubly unfortunate for him he did it in the corner that was the student section and had to hear about it from 12,000 rowdy students.
