Gert commented how lovely the day was while we had brunch. Sure enough the sun shined brightly after a dull early morning. It seemed like a perfect day to take to the trails for a hike. I figured to knock out a few of the caches along the way.

I drove into this familiar area and found myself doing a Dead stroll through the brush to this cache. I was listening to a wonderful version of Sitting in Limbo that Jerry and Dave Grisman cranked out. Oh, man, how sweet that is.

Sitting here in Limbo
Waiting for the dice to roll.
Yeah, now, sitting here in Limbo,
Still got some time to search my soul.
Meanwhile, they’re putting up a resistance,
But I know that my faith will lead me on.

It’s always nice to find ammo cans in the woods. I sat on the fallen log and took in the peacefulness of the moment. Serenity . . .
