Fisking Lautenberg

There is nothing more powerful than using one’s words to counter a statement made. Rather than the drivel that usually is produced for campaigns, this advertisement is spot on, relevant, and telling. There’s no comeback to it.
Lautenberg ran for the Senate in 1982 by proclaiming that New Jersey was 45th in the nation in the amount of federal dollars returned for taxed dollars sent. Obviously, Lautenberg feels that is a measure on which to run a campaign. Twenty-five years later, New Jersey is 50th. Who is the senior senator from New Jersey? The man trying to get himself re-elected.
This is precious!
