Universal Healthcare Coming to NJ?
It amazes me there are still elected officials in New Jersey who are absolutely clueless about the dire financial shape the state is in. Senator Joseph Vitale is now making a call for universal healthcare in New Jersey.
We need to expand the health care options for uninsured New Jerseyans, not just at the emergency room door, but across the board, and we need to increase public awareness of those options or we’re never going to realize the promise of health care access to all
With ideas like this, I have little confidence that our state budget will shrink. Am I the only one who sees the flaws with this? We are in budget review. A budget that did not take on reforming education spending. A budget that did not reform property taxes despite Governor Corzine’s cry, “Let’s make history!”
If it was not evident that we need new leadership in Trenton, this dear reader, should be our wake up call.
Unbelievable!
