Fred Thompson

I just caught a blurb on Fox News that Fred Thompson is considering running for president. It sounded like he spoke a CPAC today.
While I still would like to see Newt run, if not, Thompson is the best choice I can see. His candidacy would be very interesting.

A Republican actor as president? I’m not sure that would work!
I’m a fan of Thompson’s too, but I wonder if his best shot wasn’t 2000. Well, whatever, he’s better than the three big candidates the Republicans have now. Worth a shot.
