Defending Against Spam

I love Akismet. Publishing a blog requires some sort of spam-fighting tool. Akismet does the job for me efficiently. To date, 30,771 spam messages have been caught and deleted without interrupting your reading here, dear reader. You have not seen a one of them. And to think, it’s free too. :)

    It is now a year later. Askimet has now caught 262,206 spam messages. Unbelievable!
