Valour-IT Project: Your Help Is Needed

I had heard of the laptops for disabled troops previously, but paid it no mind. Upon returning from my head cleaning weekend, I was inundated with e-mail. I am actively going through all my mailing lists, family posts, friends, some spam that got past the blog’s filter, etc. In all this was an important message from Ken Adams, a fellow New Jersey blogger.

He is a supporter of the Valour-IT project, which raises money to purchase laptops for injured members of the United States military. His team, Navy, is attempting to raise $45,000 for the cause by Veterans Day (this coming Saturday).

It’s a simple process. Check out Ken’s post about what is going on. After that, click on the Make a Donation button. PayPal is wonderful for this kind of fundraising. According to Ken, 100% of the money raised funds laptops. That is the kind of charity conservatives like. Our troops are the kind of charity all of us like.

Dear reader, this is important stuff. Your help is needed.
