Preparing

The summer is ending.
I am changing positions and schools this year. There’s is a lot to stress about because of this, but I have not permitted myself to do so.
I went in today for the first time. THere’s even more to stress about, but I am remarkably calm. I am finally able to say, “It’ll all work out.” I’ve always wanted to be able to take that approach.
Believe ti or not, I am excited about this non-voluntary move. I have been digging in the basement all evening for materials from my former classroom position. It’s like a trip down memory lane.
I truly am looking forward to the students this year.

Yay for your students! It seems many teachers do not have this positive outlook of the careers they have chosen or of the students who are assigned to them. Each student deserves a great education.
