I Need Your Help

I should install a polling plugin, but until I do, please use the comments below to help me make a decision.
Here is the quandary:
I have options of doing one of two things.
- Accompany my wife and daughter at a T-ball game. The game is for a friend’s daughter. My daughter is not yet two. She will not be playing.
- Attend alone an implosion.
I would like to do both, but only one of the two events can be attended.
My wife points out that this is the first opportunity I will have to introduce my daughter to baseball. I am a huge baseball fan. There will be no other first time.
I have been looking to view an implosion live for a long time. I missed watching Veterans Stadium. There could be other opportunities, but realistically, where I am located, my options are limited to the Philadelphia region and the likely candidate has already gone.
So, dear reader, what shall I do?

Well, yes, option 2 is worth 200 points in a game I am not playing presently. That is true.
Edit: Would your answer be from a competitive standpoint?
For the record, it is not like I do not spend a lot of time with my family. For instance, swimming was last evening and we have a fund raiser to go to in a moment.

I vote for taking th FAMILY to the implosion because they come along so infrequently…introduce you daughter to the implosion now and baseball later. Family time works both ways - the family can come along to your activity. There will be lots of ball games available. The same can not be said of implosions.

Why yes, that would be a perfect solution. However, the attendance at the T-ball game is about mandatory for Gert. It seems reasonable to take Beetle along as the event is to see a friend who has a little girl.
So, Gert and Beetle will be at the T-ball game. The question is whether I will be with them or watching a building be destroyed . . . and log parts of the NJ Amazing Race and probably pick up some other sites for various ventures.

Well, I had decided that I could do both. At least that was the plan . . . then I promptly slept in. Sheesh, I’m getting old.
The implosion will take place 13 minutes from now in Asbury Park . . . two hours away. And considering I wouldn’t have been able to get to the Stone Pony for a photograph I need for the Amazing Race, perhaps it is best I am rested.
