Kranepool Park
Dave over at Mets Guy in Michigan is pondering a name for the new stadium for the stinkin’ Amazin’ Mets. One of my joys in life is ribbing Dave about his Mets. As a Phillies Phan, it is a duty I have.
Anyhow, I have a few suggestions . . .
When I think of the Mets, I think of Ed Kranepool. Therefore, Kranepool Park sounds good to me.
Other suggestions . . .
- The Park at Flushing Meadows
- Metropolitan Park/Yard
- The House Mookie Built
- The Miracle (in conjunction with sponsorship from Miracle Whip salad dressing)
- The Home of Pat Burrell
- Little LaGuardia

Kranepool park would be an excellent name! The Flushing Meadows name was actually considered when they built Shea.
And I have to admit that Freaking Burrell owns the Mets!
