GeoCarnival #1

Welcome to the first GeoCarnival. What is the GeoCarnival?
A carnival is a (typically weekly) round-up of what is going on in the blogosphere in a specific topic/discipline. Think of it as an index or a magazine. There are oodles of carnvals out there. The GeoCarnival is a carnival about GPS games. Most bloggers in this arena write about geocaching, so it will highlight a lot of caching adventures. But it is not limited to only caching. If you write about GeoPoker, ShutterSpots, geogolfing, the Coin Quest, etc., you just might find yourself included here each week.

There is a plethora of sites out there. Everything from listing sites to regional sites to individual cacher’s sites. This carnival will undoubtedly include a lot of those, but we are seeking blogs. Specifically, blogs with feeds (Atom, RSS, etc.).

Each Friday we will highlight what you are writing about. Think of this as the magazine written by cachers everywhere.

How Can I Participate?
All cachers and bloggers are free to submit links that you think others will find interesting. Whether it is a post you made on your own blog or something you read elsewhere, send it to us to be included for others to read. As this is a weekly compilation, please link to those posts that were made since the last GeoCarnival was posted.
