Super Bowl Prediction
Just so it is on the record beforehand, I believe the Pittsburgh Steelers will triumph tomorrow in Super Bowl XL over the Seattle Seahawks.
It is true I have not seen much of the Seahawks this year (east coast/west coast thing). By no means do I believe it will be a blowout. I am happy to see the Seahawks in the Super Bowl. Once my teams are out of it, I root for seeing teams that have never made it.
**UPDATE**
FWIW, I never quite understood the fascination with the Super Bowl advertisements. While I understand the event draws a huge audience, thus providing an opportunity for whichever network to hike ad buys, the viewer is still watching commercials. Why would viewers be so interested in that?
Yes, I recall last year’s Go Daddy commercial. Yes, there was a lot of controversy about it. Yet, when it came time to buy web space, that commercial played absolutely no part (and I didn’t purchase from that company).
I get the idea that it is an event. How commercials tie in for me as a spectator is something I don’t understand.

Congratulations to the Steelers. They played a good game and stepped up when they needed to.
I learned a few things tonight . . . I am of the age that I can tune out the commercials. I could not tell you a one that was aired.
The Rolling Stones are over and done. Yes, I prefer to hear rock and roll than some of the junk that is offered at these events, but these guys are well past their prme.
