Welcome 2006
I am not big on years in review nor am I one who pronounces resolutions. We have enjoyed our vacation and have not been blogging much.
Just a couple quick hits . . .
as is usual, I am gearing up for baseball early . . . Dick Clark looked good tonight, although the stroke he suffered is very apparent in his voice . . . Kevin Costner was not believeable as a 60-some-year-old. Yes, that is how old he would have had to have been to make the storyline work . . . speaking of movies, $10 for a soda and pretzel bites? Get real . . . do I have 175 CDs to cash in for an iPod? . . . forum regulars try to rationalize why lurkers are initimidated. Precious . . . yeah, this was a good idea . . . fwiw, we had no haggis tonight . . . what is up with Mariah Carey showing off her boobs? . . . btw, the trailers we saw tonight indicate Hollywood is out of fresh ideas. Each trailer that was shown, my wife and I would name a movie that had already been released with the same plot. There does not appear to much to look forward to at the cinema . . .
