Happy Cacheversary

Today is my cacheversary! Four years ago today I logged my first cache. It wasn’t supposed to be my first, but we couldn’t find the road for the first one we sought so it was off to Belleplain for Lenape Chief Surprise.
The Wild Tigheberries are nice folks. They keep a low profile. Way back when, they interviewed me for an article in The Press of Atlantic City about caching.
Anyhow, I logged the cache along with my lovely wife. The log can be found here The GC.com log has long been archived.
Each cacheversary I ensure I go out. Today was no exception. I re-visited this one early this morning and grabbed another cache afterwards. One has to love fall caching! A lot has changed during these four years, but surprisingly, a lot is the same. I still enjoy caching. I do it primarily alone. As much of a mystery it all was in the beginning is how my logging is now. In the past year I have written in just a few geocaching logbooks. This one was the first one in months. I am a ghost in the geocaching world. I find it extremely liberating.
