National Magic Week

Today kicks off National Magic Week. I know, you have been waiting all year for this. For more than forty years the Society (The Society of American Magicians) recognized the anniversary of the death of Harry Houdini with a special “week” of events to highlight the charitable work of the Society throughout the year.

In honor of this event, I link for your pleasure, a magic trick for you to practice. With a little practice, you can astonish your friends.

One of the funniest acts can still be had on video as you watch Harry Anderson perform four-card monte, a routine I first saw on Saturday Night Live that captured my attention and still gets me today.
