On Becoming Roman Catholic
The struggle to become Roman Catholic is bordering on humorous these days. While I have completed RCIA, I am not allowed in. Gert has completed the proper paperwork for her end, but a friend who is serving as a witness has lied at least twice to us regarding this matter. She has not sent in her paperwork which holds up the decision for Gert, which means I am not permitted to be confirmed, which is really ticking me off. And to think this person expected to babysit for us. Sheesh . . . Gert is now hand-holding the process, which she offered to do a month ago, but was told not to worry. The thoughts I had of having this wrapped up b4 the baby is born are totally out the window. I guess I needed to begin more than eight months prior to the date I wanted.
