Secluded Pond

This is the log I submitted for the Secluded Pond cache, which I found 1 February 2003.
I would have never found this place if it were not for this cache. It was a nice easy walk. I liked how the cache was hidden.

The pond looks nice. I think there was a sign that indicated no swimming was allowed. That’s a shame as it looks like a nice secluded place.

The pond here is the place that first inspired me to place a cache (that I have yet to do) that would be a duck decoy floating in a pond with the cache inside the decoy.
My research found that good decoys are expensive. I have since read that others have done this very thing, so this isn’t exactly pressing, but something I think would be an interesting diversion.
