South Jersey “easyfind #2″
This is the log I submitted for birddog’s South Jersey “easyfind #2″ geocache, which I found 17 November 2001.

This was the second cache we found! It was to be our first, but we screwed up. We live nearby, which helped convince us to give this a try. But when we saw Eden, we got confused. We went to the wrong Eden and were caught up in all the shopping. Locals understand what that entails at this time of the year. Anyhow, we bailed to Belleplain. After success there, we gave this one another try.
Gert was apprehensive at the fishing hole, but eventually proceeded. We were locked in, but had to look around a bit b4 we found it. A very kewl place and some place I had never been, despite living right there.
We left a puzzle keychain and took a pen.
Today was beautiful and we enjoyed the experience of finding this one.
All the best,
Fro.

I ended up adopting this cache in July 2003. It was never a great cache, but it was the oldest in the county and since it had ties to my caching genesis, I thought it was “worthy” of doing so.
By this time I found that one didn’t really need to cross the tressel of the active railroad line. There is a far better approach.
Eventually I archived this cache as I cleaned up the countryside of my GC.com-listed caches.
