The past academic year was a year from hell. Truly. I was beat. Yes, immediately after school ended I saw ABB in Camden, but I hadn’t moved from the lounger since. I computed from that chair with the television remote nearby.

Overnight someone had posted to some board I was on that he had an extra second row in the pit ticket for the MPP show if anyone wanted it. I saw it when I woke up and e-mailed back. What the hell; I could drive down to Maryland on a dime. The guy wrote back and we made arrangements to meet.

I was right in front of Greg with no one in front of me all night long. Many of those in the pit were gone most of the night, including the guy I got the ticket from. Apparently he had friends further back. It didn’t matter to me, I was happy as can be.

The Allmans tend to play two different shows. I was hoping for the other show since I had seen this set a week before. It wasn’t meant to be. I was treated to Hot Tuna though. Finally . . .

Good show.
