Well, I had been living alone in South Jersey for a number of years now and realized I hadn’t been seeing many shows in recent years. I caught the bug going into the summer and decided I was going to get back into concerts. Being a little older now I knew stadium shows were a thing of the past. But so were arenas, at least if I couldn’t guarantee most of the crowd was behind me. This is how I entered the summer of 1999.

First up was this show in Wilmington. It was a cold damp June day when I drove over. The Opera House is beautiful and the perfect setting for TMT. I had become a Janis fan and tonight she was picture perfect. Just a wonderful voice.
