There is a current thread on rec.music.gdead which asks what are the 10 best engineered albums of all time.
This is not too subjective, I suppose. I have not thought this through, hence, my list is incomplete. These were a few albums that came immediately to mind.
- Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon
- Alan Parsons Project: I Robot
- Roxy Music: Avalon
- Moody Blues: Days of Future Passed
