Chapter II
sometime after 16 April 1994
My first tour of Boston ended and I moved back to New Jersey. Back to my mother and father’s house. Back to my room where I spent my childhood. I had to mature and my thinking at that time was to re-gather myself, surround myself with wholesome living, and set out on a course of . . . teaching?
No, it wasn’t quite like that. I left Boston broke. Not in debt for I had sold my baseball cards to relieve myself of some burdensome credit card bills. I also left Boston defeated. My fiancè had just broken off our engagement and I was actually aware that I was a 26 year old with limited skills and an ugly future. The idea of the move was to re-group. I returned to Cape May ready to make changes in myself.
